Healthy Lifestyles

Chef in Training

This program teaches our youth how to make healthy snacks and meals. From learning what a healthy breakfast consists of, to finding out what a carbohydrate is, the club members who participate in this program will be able to make healthy food choices.

​TRIPLE Play Healthy Habits

Through the Triple Play experience, the Club challenges members to become healthy and active by learning new ways to eat nutritionally, manage stress, maintain physical fitness and form positive relationships with peers.

T.R.A.I.L

On the T.R.A.I.L to Diabetes Prevention is comprised of a 12-chapter curriculum program that provides youth with understanding of healthy lifestyles in order to prevent type 2 diabetes in Native youth and promote resiliency.

Take A Hike

This program has four main priority outcomes and one overall goal. The program is intended to encourage physical fitness, to teach the importance of healthy eating habits, channel a growth in confidence, and to nurture a connection to the natural environment. Take a Hike Club has an overall goal of helping our youth take responsibility for leading a healthy lifestyle.

SMART Moves

​SMART Moves is a suite of targeted programs and other resources designed to help young people develop healthy decision-making attitudes and skills.

Sports & Recreation

​Boys & Girls Club members have opportunities daily to participate in a wide variety of sports & recreation activities such as dodge ball, volleyball, basketball, ping pong, pool, Walking Club, skateboarding and much more.
